What is the man behind the myth and his art? Ralf König was born on August 8, 1960 in the city of Soin, Germany, in Westfalen, Germany. He went to school in Werl and later began to study as a carpenter. In 1979, he came out of the closet and published his first short cartoons, which was well received by a politically motivated gay movement. The cartoons were published in the Zomix -underground magazine in Munich and in the gay Rosa Flieder magazine.
